Do you remember the taste of the famous suberek from the sea? We found the recipe and we liked the result!
700 g white flour
250-300 ml of warm water
1 pinch of salt
200 g salted cheese
1/2 teaspoon dried herbs
2 tablespoons sour cream
500 ml oil, for frying
Method of preparation:
First prepare the cheese filling: grate the cheese, then mix it with sour cream and dried herbs. Homogenize the ingredients very well.
The dough for suberek is one of the simplest doughs there is put in a bowl sifted flour, salt then add lightly, lightly warm water, until we get the desired consistency (it feels on hand). If the dough sticks to your hand, add more flour, until it is no longer sticky.
This dough will be given the shape of a roll, from which they will be fragmented into equal pieces. The pieces of dough will be shaped into a ball, and then, with the help of the wooden rolling pin, some sheets will be stretched (which will have the appearance of a pancake sheet, it is important that these sheets are not very thick, but also have the appearance of cigarette foil, because in this situation they will break).
After completing this step, the sheets will be filled. On the half of the spread sheet, the chosen filling will be placed, and the other half will be folded over (thus obtaining the appearance of a semicircle). Press the dough with your fingers.
Meanwhile, put the hot oil in a cast iron pot (tuci) or in a high frying pan. When the oil is hot enough, fry 2-3 pieces of suberek (which turn alternately on one side and the other).
When the suberek pieces are fried, take them out on a kitchen napkin and drain the excess oil.
One of the secrets of the suberk is that, after draining the frying oil, it is transferred to a metal vessel, which will be covered with the lid (condensed steam will make this donut soft and keep warm for more time).

- 1 pack of pie sheets
- 200 g butter
- 2 eggs
- 300 g of sweet cheese
Method of preparation:
In a pan add the butter to melt over low heat, then beat the two eggs well and mix them with a wooden spoon. When the butter has melted, add the eggs and let it simmer for a few more minutes, then take the pan off the heat.
Unwrap the packet of pie sheets and cut each sheet into triangles. Using a brush, grease each corner and add the cheese filling, mixed with lots of greens. You run the same way as the donuts.
Grease the baking tray with butter or oil, place the rolls in the pan, then grease each one on top. Put them in the hot oven for 10-15 minutes.
